Puka - Meryta sinclairii

Great coastal species. Huge flat leaves gives the species a tropical look, they are around 25-50cms long. Plant in full sun to partial shade with deep, well-drained but moist soil. It is quite hardy in that it can withstand strong winds and salt, making it ideal for coastal areas. However, the tree does not enjoy heavy frosts. They are in a 1.5Lt Pot. SECONDS AS THEY HAVE SLIGHTLY BEND STEMS.

In 10 years they are expected to grow approx. 3m high x 2m wide and at maturity 7m high x 3m wide.
